The Valentines Day house turned out better than I thought! We had a lot of fun putting it together and it was a craft well worth doing. Now we have a place to put all of my daughters Valentines. She was also inspired to use it as a puppet house for her new puppets she received for Valentines Day. This was a multi-purpose craft and we will definitely keep it for next year. What we learned:
A lot with this one...patterns, sorting, counting/numbers, colors, stacking, creativity, design, imagination in creating the perfect house, lines and using straight lines to create a fence, shapes in creating windows, doors, trees and butterflies, practiced handwriting, cutting with scissors and creative thinking in a multi purpose house (puppet, play and Valentine card holder). What we shared:
laughs, happiness, time together, working as a team, creativity and how to express it, crafting to brighten our home, fun and learning.
